Since 1940, the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) has exclusively represented the worldwide oil and gas drilling industry. Membership is open to any company involved in oil and gas exploration, drilling or production, well servicing, oilfield manufacturing or other rig-site services.

As the national regulator for the vocational education and training (VET) sector, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) seeks to make sure that the quality of the training and education sector is maintained through effective regulation.

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) is Australia’s regulator for all heavy vehicles.

Established in 2013 as an statutory authority pursuant to the Heavy Vehicle National Law, NHVR’s vision is to have: A safe, efficient and productive heavy vehicle industry serving the needs of Australia.

NATIONAL TRAINING COUNCIL PNG (NTC)

The National Council is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament in 1991. (Legislation Reference No. 12 of 1991. Certified on the 3 July 1991). The National Training Council is a legitimate authority empowered by its own act to monitor the implementation of the National Training Policy (1989).

The NTC’s main task is to ensure that training is conducted in all sectors of industry. Part of its brief is to develop and promote high standards of training in Papua New Guinea, and to co-ordinate and distribute, among the private and public sectors, information and opportunities available in respect of training.
