Construction Skills Queensland Funded Training 2025-26

What is CSQ?

Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) is an independent, not‑for‑profit, industry‑funded body that supports the Queensland building and construction industry. CSQ doesn’t deliver training directly—instead, it partners with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to subsidise training for workers, employers, apprentices, and industry stakeholders.

About CSQ Funding

CSQ funding subsidises the cost of construction industry training to build workforce capacity through targeted skills investment. Funding typically covers between 75% and 100% of course costs and is paid directly to contracted RTOs like Harness. Eligible individuals working in the Queensland Building & Construction or Civil Construction industries can access subsidised qualifications, safety courses, short courses, and high-risk work licences. Funding is available for new entrants, existing workers, and those currently under-employed or out of work in the industry.
