Introduction:

The IWCF Level 3 and IWCF Level 4 Well Control courses are a five-day intensive program. These courses have been designed by Harness in conjunction with the International Well Control Forum (IWCF) requirements. It addresses basic principles and theory of well control along with the most commonly used well control techniques.

Learning Outcomes:

Learning Methods:

Harness Instructors

Well Control Instructors play a critical role in IWCF training. Harness instructors have been hand picked from a global stage and have successfully implemented a human factors approach to our programs. This approach to training has resulted in reduced anxiety levels, enhanced performance and greater knowledge retention. We find students have an overall positive learning experience throughout our courses.

Delivery

The mode of delivery for this course is face to face as well as significant practical elements outside of the classroom.

In the delivery of this course, our trainers focus on providing an individualised learning based on experience and employment history.

Theory is presented in a supportive learner centered environment designed to provide functional theoretical knowledge dependent on the candidates work experience.

Learning materials provided include the Harness student handbook. Participants will be advised in advance of attending the course if there are any materials to be provided by them.

The assessment for this course has been designed to assess the individual to the Australian Qualification Framework. The relevant Training Package meets Australian and Industry expectations, as well as Commonwealth and State Legislation.
