Introduction
White card training is an induction health and safety course required prior to working in the construction industry or as part of construction activities in other industries. This white card course is nationally recognised and covers the practical knowledge and skills required to work safely in the construction industry. This white card course isn’t just for beginners. It is recommended that workers who have taken a lengthy break from work on a construction site complete the white card course again to refresh their knowledge. We provide CSQ funding for this white card course, subject to you meeting eligibility criteria.
White card training, also known as construction induction training, is a general health and safety training course to introduce you to your obligations and required knowledge to work safely in the construction industry and prevent injury or harm to yourself and others. During our national white card courses, students will learn how to identify and report common construction hazards and understand basic risk control measures. Students and workers will also learn the procedures for responding to potential incidents and emergencies. Additionally, this white card course covers common personal protective equipment (PPE) used for construction work.
As a registered training organisation (RTO), we deliver this white card course in person to ensure you get the most out of the training and are not simply ‘ticking a box’. Given the importance of this education, we do not offer any online white card classes. As a registered training organisation, we take your safety seriously, and the engaging method of delivery will help you be safer at work as you learn from an instructor we have chosen due to their in-depth understanding of the environment you will be working in.
