White Card Training is general health and safety training and will introduce you to your obligations and required knowledge to work more safely and help prevent injury or harm to yourself and others. During the White Card Training in Perth, you will learn how to identify and report common construction hazards, understand basic risk control measures, and the procedures for responding to potential incidents and emergencies. It also covers common personal protective equipment (PPE) used for construction work.

With multi-industry application, this white card training is an important course and pre-requisite for entry level positions within construction related activities. It is also required for any you if you construction sites as part of your work.

The Certificate is usually needed as evidence for your employer for safety and compliance requirements.
NOTE: CPCWHS1001 Supersedes and is equivalent to CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
Course Prerequisites
No Course pre-requisities apply. Minimum age for White card is 13yrs old. Please note this is a classroom based training course. Also review the important requirements applicable to all courses.

A White card, the General Construction Induction Card, is accepted across Australia. It is the most current version of induction training for this construction industry.
The white card does not have an expiry date – however, recommendations do exist depending on your role and industry. It is also recommended if you have had a gap from construction industry of 2 yrs or more.
