The Tilt-up Panel Ticket covers the construction panel work provides you with essential knowledge about safe precast concrete and tilt-up construction practices, preparing you for working in tilt-up concrete panel construction workplaces or sites. The course focuses on meeting the required outcomes for safe precast concrete and tilt-up work induction training in the construction industry. It is suitable for anyone who will be involved in this significant aspect of the construction industry workplace or site. The course does not aim to teach you about your own trade skill but the safe application of it within this construction setting with a focus on the 6 key stages of Tilt Up work;
- Tilt Up Design
- Tilt Up Manufacturing
- Transporting of Tilt Up Panels
- Erecting Tilt Up Panels
- Structural considerations associated with the Tilt Up Concrete Panels
- Sign-offs on the Tilt Up Construction Work
The Tilt Up Construction course content is based on the updated requirements specified in the Regulations, Code of Practice, and Standards. It covers the following areas:
- Identification of hazards and implementation of risk control measures specific to tilt-up construction work
- Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
- Planning, preparation, and execution of the tilt-up construction process, relevant to individual work responsibilities and roles
- Proper usage of safety equipment on construction sites
- Understanding the various stages involved in the tilt-up construction process
- Compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards, legislative requirements, and codes of practice pertaining to tilt-up work
Upon successful completion participants will be issued with the following Statements of Attainment, which will be recognised nationally
