The Diploma Drilling Oil and Gas (onshore) has been designed to reflect the role of a Rig Manager in an onshore drilling operation. The tasks performed involve a high level of autonomy and require the application of significant judgement in planning. This course is a step up in critical thinking for those operating across all the rig’s well drilling operations.

Course Details
This Diploma comprises 7 core units of competency and 5 elective units. This qualification is focused on the strategic rig management role tasks that have broad people and operational implications in nature. Examples range from drilling induction through to rig-up operations. Including technical aspects around evaluation and planning rig operations through to the well completion stages, this course is both involved and specific in the elective subjects included.
