Our Certificate IV in Leadership and Management is a two-year qualification Harness has tailored, through the choice of electives, to support those working in business as well as those working in working within higher risk industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction and Transport. Occupations this qualification will be valuable for include: line managers, leading hands and production supervisors, team leaders across the operational areas of a variety of working environments.
This leadership and management qualification is a competency based one; we make it about your learning and understanding of theory and then being able to apply it into your working life. In applying for this course, consider how you want to approach your study and the role of your organisation in supporting you as financial subsidies may be available to eligible applicants or organisations.
You will see the expected skills you are building from the course contents below and will be expected to be demonstrating the skills across a range of predictable and unpredictable issues, to analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.

The mode of delivery for this course is a work place based course involving 12 units that we have uniquely orientated to the needs of those working towards/in leadership positions. In the delivery of this course‚ our trainers support a range of supervisors and mentors to develop your problem solving and critical thinking skills needed for substantial team leadership.

Once you successfully complete this course, you’ll receive a certificate. It shows your Qualification and Statements of Attainment for each unit you have passed. All are recognised within the Australian Qualifications Framework.
This is a nationally recognised qualification and is issued by Harness Energy (RTO 40521).
Course Prerequisites
You must be employed. No other course pre-requisites apply. You will need Internet access and a computer for this qualification. This certificate IV qualification in Leadership and Management includes the core units which are pre-determined base study units. It is recommended that you start with these units. We have selected the other elective units to accompany the core units from a long list of options based on our client and industry feedback as being most relevant in the medium to high risk sectors as well as for those of you at that stage in your career of building your management skills.
