Introduction
Course Details
This scaffolding Ticket is the Scaffolding Licence Advanced level course – and includes the theoretical and practical components to meet the skills and knowledge required to work as an advanced scaffolder and safely perform advanced scaffolding work for the high-risk work licence class SA.
While scaffolding work involves erecting, altering or dismantling a temporary structure to support a platform from which a person or object could fall more than four metres, this advanced level scaffolding ticket is the certification level that will enable you to be involved in more sophisticated scaffolding work including:
- cantilevered hoists
- hung scaffolds, including scaffolds, hung from tubes, wire ropes or chains
- suspended scaffolds
Training and assessments are conducted at Harness Energy Training facilities in Belmont, Perth – with the help of our industry leading trainers, training spaces and equipment to ensure you enjoy real world relevant learning. Upon arrangement, training and assessment can be conducted at the premises of industry clients providing there are suitable industry training facilities.
Competence in this unit does not in itself result in a scaffolding advanced licence. The high risk work licence is obtainable after your competence is assessed under applicable Commonwealth, state or territory work health and safety (WHS) regulations.
While it is generally assumed that by the time you reach this advanced scaffolding Licence training level you understand the scaffolding types, the course does ensure you have your knowledge up to date in this area and then the course follows a structure consistent with our other Scaffolding Courses, but with the focus now firmly on advanced scaffolding skills levels.
